Concluding on a massive week for RYCO Hydraulics and RYCO 24•7, a fantastic sportsman’s night was held in Darwin on Friday, May 14 2010.

The sportsman’s night ran in conjunction with the opening of the brand new RYCO 24•7 Flame Control run franchise in Darwin on Saturday morning, May 15.

The night proved to be a fantastic opportunity for industry professionals to mingle and create relations.

After a very successful international conference held in Point Stuart from Monday through to Thursday, the sportsman’s night provided a much laid back setting at TIO Stadium in Darwin.

AFL legend Kevin Sheedy was accompanied by MC for the evening, BL Shipway Managing Director, David Shipway.

Kevin and David proved to be a formidable duo as they had the crowd on the edge of their seats, relating the business of RYCO 24•7 to Kevin’s football experiences and life in general.

David provided a light hearted introduction which was well received by the crowd in attendance, before welcoming Kevin to the stage.

The highlight of the night was the auctioning off of a range of AFL memorabilia, including three gold framed prints of the AFL’s 150 years celebrations.

Over $3,500 was raised from the night, with all proceeds going to development of junior football in the Northern Territory.

The night concluded with Sheedy mingling and chatting with the crowd, while signing autographs of a large amount of RYCO 24•7 merchandise and some of his acclaimed books.

Kevin proved once again why he is a great spokesperson and ambassador of RYCO 24•7, showing his support for the business’ new existence in the Northern Territory.

His insight was a driving force behind the big crowd which turned up to see RYCO 24•7 open their gates to their new Flame Control ran in Darwin on Saturday morning.

RYCO and RYCO 24•7 Flame Control Staff were on hand to hand out a range of merchandise, and keep the BBQ and cool drinks going for the budding customers and visitors alike.

With Darwin’s leading commercial radio station, HOT FM in attendance, people poured in from all over the city to visit the spectacular new RYCO 24•7.

The morning was a great success with industry professionals and potential customers coming along to gather an insight into just what RYCO 24•7 offers to the Darwin business community.
