Following RYCO’s European strategic plan the company is pleased to announce the completion of its first acquisition in Europe. Effective the 1st September 2008 RYCO acquired MILANOFLEX S.r.l. Italy and POWERFLEX S.r.o. Czech Republic. Founded in 1969, MILANOFLEX has achieved a highly regarded position in the market of the hose assemblies, fittings and accessories for hydraulic and petrochemical systems. One of the first companies to embrace the concept of total quality, MILANOFLEX never lost sight of its main objective of offering its clientele not only highly reliable products, but also top class pre- and post- sales service. These core business strengths are truly valued within RYCO and hence an ideal fit, only adding further value to RYCO Europe.    POWERFLEX a wholly owned subsidiary of Milanoflex was created to support the growing OEM customer base in Eastern Europe. The facility located 30 minutes from Zlin, in Czech Republic (Moravia) covers a total area of about 2000m2.
RYCO’s decision to acquire MILANOFLEX and POWERFLEX forms a solid foundation of RYCO’s aggressive program in the European market.  Hose assemblies will remain the focus out of RYCO Italy with expansion of distribution to RYCO’s established and future distributors.
