RYCO Hydraulics and RYCO Hose ensures that employees, contractors and franchisees are provided with a safe and healthy work environment. Every reasonable effort will be made by management with the involvement of employees to promote accident prevention, fire protection and health preservation.

In particular terms, this policy is:

• To place the safety of employees, contractors, franchisees, clients and the public ahead of the protection of the organisation’s equipment and services.
  
  
• To provide and maintain safe production facilities and/or work locations.
  
  
• To ensure that all personnel are adequately trained to perform their jobs safely.
  
  
• To train all managers, staff and franchisees in the basic areas of accident and injury prevention.
  
  
• To establish Safety Committees in appropriate areas and to provide employee consultation on accident prevention measures.
  
  
• To find the cause of any accident and take the necessary action to prevent recurrences.
  
  
• To regard all accidents and injuries as preventable.
  
  
• It is recognised that the concept and practice of Safety involves shared responsibilities and a team approach. Every effort is made to administer Accident Prevention in such a manner.
