We were pleased to see so many of our employees participate in the 9th annual Biggest Morning Tea to support Cancer Council Australia.

In-brief, Cancer Council Australia is a leading cancer charity, and they work across every aspect of every cancer.

Every day, they support people impacted by cancer, speak out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empower people to reduce their cancer risk, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer.

On Thursday, May 19th, 2022, our lunchroom at our RYCO head office in Melbourne, Australia was filled with good cheer, delicious food, and homemade dishes, from savory dishes to “MasterChef” type desserts by RYCO.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer.

RYCO staff are traditionally asked to bring a plate to share for morning tea. Additionally, RYCO provides a few goodies to go with the morning tea. Our staff make a voluntary donation to the Cancer Council on the day – just look for the donation box.

This year we raised $442.50 for the Cancer Council’s essential funds for people impacted by cancer. Overall, we have raised more than $3,000 for Cancer Council Australia over the past 8 years. This is a fantastic result, and we will continue to support Australian charities.
