One of the worlds’ most recognised mining industry trade events, the Las Vegas MINExpo®, was back after a 4 year break. And it seems visitors and exhibitors alike couldn’t wait, as attendances were up by a record 40% compared with 2008. The numbers clearly spoke for themselves: 1,800 exhibitors; 55,000 visitors and a giant 79,000m2 floor space. From a strategically planned central exhibition space, RYCO proudly showcased its patented CROCBITE mine-safe connection system along with, a world first range of high pressure, minimum bend hoses (the H6000 range) and a new range of Isobaric hoses. In 2008 RYCO was only just emerging in the US market. Congratulations to the RYCO 24•7 sponsored Southern Stars Netball Team 2 in winning the Under 15s SUNA Division 2 Netball competition last Tuesday night, 2nd October 2012. The girls started the year in Division 1 with mixed results – 1 win from 4 games. After 4 weeks, the girls moved into Division 2, which brought even more competition with winning results. All the girls played the season with great spirit and endeavour resulting in them winning the pinnacle – the Grand Final! The Southern Stars are very excited about the upcoming new season and defending their premiership.
