HALP®
RYCO Hose Assembly Lifespan Predictor
Step 1: Asset Management
Step 2: Audit
The known environmental conditions of a mine or application, such as pH levels (corrosion), working fluids, temperatures (environmental and fluid), abrasion, style of hose, twisting, bending, and routing are then entered.
Step 3: Life Cycle Management
The HALP ® incorporates a database of hose assemblies, tracking their component and machine locations. When coupled with predictive technology, the HALP ® system not only helps you to design a preventative schedule of maintenance and testing for each hose assembly or groups of hose assemblies but keeps you on track with scheduled hose maintenance.
Step 4: Reporting
RYCO HALP® via the QRAM management system, provides asset data and management reports that considers the condition of hose assemblies and their deterioration over time relative to initial predictions. The reports highlight unexpected failures, hot spots, and usages. This visibility provides for easy analysis and quick action where required.
You can engineer out hot spots, adjust preventative maintenance schedules and replace assets before they fail. This in turn means predictive life spans of assets, scheduled inspections and work orders are undertaken with confidence.
Ongoing reviews are conducted by RYCO Hydraulics to analyse hose assemblies and to upgrade projections in the HALP® program.
