METRIC AND IMPERIAL NUT SIZING
RYCO’s dedication to providing customer service across multiple markets is paramount. That’s why we have expanded our range of hose couplings to meet all of your application needs. RYCO is now offering a range of metric nuts on selected sizes in BSP, JSEALTM and JIC hose couplings.
The introduction of our metric part numbering system is easily read and identified in the product technical manual. Below is an example of how to identify a JSEALTM part number with a metric nut:
IMPERIAL VERSION
Back up Nut - Across Flats (AF) 1/2 inch Hex Female Nut - (HF) 9/16 inch
METRIC VERSION
Back up Nut - Across Flats (AF) 12 mm Hex Female Nut - (HF) 14 mm
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER:
IMPERIAL DIMENSIONS are expressed as the number of SIXTEENTHS of an inch. METRIC DIMENSIONS are expressed as the number of MILLIMETRES.
